The day democracy died?

Appleby Fair organiser Billy Welch was just one of hundreds of Drive 2 Survive protestors who took to the streets across Britain on Saturday

An epic day of protest on Saturday 15th January saw at least 28 rallies across the UK, with thousands coming onto the streets to oppose the draconian Policing Bill. From Newcastle in North East to Newtown in Wales Drive 2 Survive members joined their local protests against the Police Bill.

🏛️ But today is crucial. The House of Lords has the chance to vote down government amendments today which make the Bill even worse, and can also amend the Bill to remove some of the worst aspects.
