On July 7th, Gypsy Roma and Traveller communities from across Britain came to what is thought to be the biggest ever rally for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller rights. Together with Members of Parliament and the House of Lords and representatives from human rights organisations and the Black Lives Matter and Extinction Rebellion movement they launched a summer of discontent that will have to grow if nomadic life in Britain is not to be outlawed.
