Burning injustice

The devastating fire that destroyed 90% of the Ver Meadows Travellers Site in Redbourne, Hertfordshire has shocked many. Drive 2 Survive co-chair Sherrie Smith has been to the site with the residents as they try to rebuild their lives. Her pictures from the frontline of failed Gypsy site management are shocking.

Sherrie is on the ground giving direct material help to the traumatised residents, providing everything from prams to food parcels and negotiating with the council.
