Drive 2 Survive activists have marked the 10th anniversary of the eviction of Dale Farm by revisiting the wasteland left behind after the biggest eviction in British peacetime.
As Priti Patel's racist Police Bill was debated in the House of Lords Gypsy and Traveller activists gathered at Dale Farm on the tenth anniversary of the day when over half of the site was evicted. A decade on much of the land is just a wasteland where families once gathered. Some of those evicted are now living at nearby Hovefields Travellers site which the activists then visited.
